Sizing

One of the more difficult aspects of finding a good dance shoe in America is that most shoes are in UK sizes. We've also noticed that sizing charts and tables given by the manufacturers don't always match up to reality. This is mostly because of "Vanity Sizing" in the US over the past few decades has changed what a size 5 means. Feel free to email us if you have questions regarding sizing. We've been around long enough to know within a half size what is going to work for you. In fact, we're so confident we can get you in the right size we offer unlimited exchanges for sizing. Provided that the shoes return to us in a new, unsoiled, and unworn condition within two weeks of the shipping date, we will gladly ship you an alternate size at no additional shipping cost. Please contact us with questions about the fit, and if you provide a picture with you wearing the shoe we will have a good chance of getting the right shoe to you. Beyond one exchange we will only access shipping charges until we find the right size and shoe for you!

Returns

We accept returns up to 7 days from the date the shoes are delivered as indicated by the shipping company, minus shipping charges provided the shoes are returned in a new, unworn and unsoiled condition, as determined by Lucienne Dance Works.

Returns beyond 7 days, and up to 30 days will be accepted, minus a 20% restocking fee and any shipping charges, and subject to the same conditions of being new, unworn and unsoiled, as determined by Lucienne Dance Works.

No returns past 30 days will be accepted.

Provided shoes are returned in a new, unworn and unsoiled condition, as determined by Lucienne Dance Works, you will be refunded your purchase amount, minus any shipping charges, within 30 days of the receipt of the goods. If the shoe box is returned in an unusable state (ie, tape, stickers, post office markings, etc. is considered unusable, normal wear and tear due to shipping is not considered unusable), a re-furbishing charge of $10 will be applied before refund.

Shoes purchased on sale or clearance are considered final and will not be accepted for return by Lucienne Dance Works

Fulfillment

Though we have hundreds of products in our warehouse, from time to time we do not have the exact shoe ordered in our inventory. When this occurs the products are immediately ordered from the manufacturer and shipped directly from England. Orders to manufacturers will be placed within 24 hours. This typically adds an additional 12-14 business days to the estimated delivery time. Lucienne DW covers the additional shipping costs, and your quoted charge at time of checkout remains the same.

Backorders: Due to the increasing popularity of Ray Rose shoes, occasionally your order might not be immediately available and will need to be manufactured. This process currently takes between 4-6 weeks. You will be notified as soon as possible of any back-ordered product and offered the chance to swap your order for any in stock product. In cases where the in-stock product is of greater value, you will be offered a discount to match the price of your order up to $15 per swap.
